interviews

I interviewed some people on the street asking them about their
communities and the one that they were in. We had a series of questions
to ask these people. Such as how is this community different from your
community, obviously that only worked if they didn't live in the
city.We also asked them if they were part of an online community,
almost all of them said yes. then we ask those who said yes what the
differences were between their online community and their community at
home. Most people said moreinteraction was done online than at their house.

Hills

I moved when I was just to years old, I moved to a hill, a big one.
My first memory of the hill was going into my house and having the toilet
overflow, on the very first day.
My hill is near the end of the city, I live in and near nothing.
The hill is in the middle of a huge housing boom.Everyone is always building, at 4:00 am I might add.
There aren't that many restaurants on the hill,
but
dogs are abundant. When I was two a giant dog came up two me and ripped
my sandwich out of my mouth.

Something that makes my neighborhood is special is that I live in it,
perhaps not something of substance, but a
reason.

MIsunderstandings

bugs.
Not everyone loves bugs.
But most people make assumptions about whether boys and girls like bugs
I say this because I just listen to a pod-cast about a girl who go mistaken for a boy when she cut her hair.
girls don't like bugs but boys do, now I know for a fact that a good amount of boys don't like bugs and of course the other way around. I'm supposed to write about an experience like this girl.
Now my experience may not be as dramatic but here goes:
When I went to DC for vacation there was a scavenger hunt that I participated in
The point obviously was to find thing, I found them all. My hair is about shoulder length
and I look kinda like a girl. The person who gave out the prizes had tons of stuff to give out
one of those this were giant plastic bugs
now who doesn't want a giant plastic bug?
anyway the woman didn't give me one I got kinda mad
I know it seems like nothing but oh well.

Why Pickles

Why pickles, because well pickles are AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
they have my favorite food and color all in one convenient package.
Plus with the whole green thing going on it's good to have it on your side
